On Saturday, October 26th, 130 volunteers, including 16 from the Livonia Rotary Club, helped pack 10,000 meals to support Kids Against Hunger.  This meal packaging event was held at St. Edith Catholic Church in Livonia.  It was organized by the Livonia Community Service Forum.

The food packets contain:

* high-quality white rice
• fortified, crushed soy - 52% protein
• blend of 6 dehydrated vegetables
• 21 vitamins & minerals

The meal packages were delivered to eight local food pantries and the Goodfellows have received more than 3000 meals to distribute to the hungry.
